What is the best productivity app?

Three productivity apps, in the order to try them. Todoist is the list. TickTick is the list with a calendar built in. Notion is the place for notes and bigger projects.

We choose the apps ourselves. Paid spots are always marked “Sponsored”.

What to try first

Start with Todoist when you want a list you can open on your phone and on the web.

Use TickTick when you want that list next to a calendar. Use Notion when the work is notes and projects, not only tasks.

Questions

Start with Todoist if you want a list. Use TickTick if you want that list next to a calendar. Use Notion when the work is notes and projects, not only tasks.

What is the best free productivity app?

Todoist. It is free to download on Google Play and enough for a daily list. TickTick and Notion are also free to start.

Do I need a separate notes app?

Not at first. Notion covers notes and tasks. Microsoft To Do and Google Tasks are the other lists people keep if Todoist is not the one.
